Work
Real parts, built to a standard.
Twelve parts, each designed for a named industry with the material called out and a dimensioned drawing behind it. Every card shows the part and its drawing sheet; switch between them on the card, or open the sheet full size.
The standard every piece meets
Portfolio brief
Every card names the part, who it is for, what it proves and one real number, and carries a full drawing sheet: third-angle views, dimensions, material, print notes and tolerances. Nothing goes on this page that does not meet the list below.
The part
- Industrial, not hobby. Brackets, clamps, clips, fixtures, housings, replacement parts. No novelties, no logos that belong to someone else, no decor.
- Proves one skill. A press fit, a thread, a support-free overhang, a parametric family, a reverse-engineered OEM part. The caption says which.
- Has a number on it. A tolerance held, a load, a temperature, a quantity, a turnaround. One real figure per card.
The colour and finish
- Matte light grey for everything. Layer lines read as precision, not as plastic.
- Black carbon-fibre nylon for two or three hero parts only.
- Never gold, red, silk, rainbow, or two-tone. Supports removed, edges deburred, no stringing in shot.
The documentation
- The part. Rendered on a plain grey sweep, three-quarter angle, in its real material and colour. Nothing else in frame.
- The drawing. An A3 sheet in third-angle projection: front, top, right and isometric, dimensioned, with notes and a title block.
- The build notes. Material, layer height, orientation, supports, infill and the number that matters: a fit, a mass, a repeatability.
Fleet and automotive

- Proves
- Repeatable fleet-wide bracket. Ribbed wedge, 15° tilted cradle, strap loops and screw slots in one print.
- Number
- Same part on every truck; quoted at 20 units, ASA.
- Spec
- ASA, matte light grey. 0.2 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.

- Proves
- Smooth revolved bell on a square flange, printed support-free with the flange down.
- Number
- Ø50 bore, R22 bell, 4× Ø6.5 on a 66 mm PCD.
- Spec
- PETG-CF, black, as printed. 0.16 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.

- Proves
- Measured from a broken OEM clip with calipers; a snap fit that works the first time.
- Number
- Fit on the first print; three coupons to confirm the 0.2 mm neck clearance.
- Spec
- PETG, light grey. 0.12 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.
Industrial and manufacturing

- Proves
- One parametric model, four parts. Change the cable diameter and the wall, width and screw follow.
- Number
- 6, 10, 16 and 25 mm from one file.
- Spec
- PETG, black, as printed. 0.2 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.

- Proves
- A fixture that puts the hole in the same place every time: two locating pins, two bushing pockets, clamp slots.
- Number
- Hole position repeats to ±0.1 mm across the batch.
- Spec
- PETG-CF, light grey. 0.2 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.

- Proves
- A template an electrician keeps in the van: stud fence, scribe notches, finger notch.
- Number
- 54 × 92 mm window for a single-gang old-work box. Mark once, cut once.
- Spec
- PETG, light grey. 0.2 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.
Aerospace and precision

- Proves
- Design for printing: 45° wing tapers and roofed pockets so it prints upright with no supports.
- Number
- Zero supports; 31 minutes per clip in carbon-fibre nylon.
- Spec
- CF nylon (PAHT-CF), black, as printed. 0.16 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.

- Proves
- Stiffness-to-weight thinking: a 1.2 mm skin with an equilateral rib lattice on a 25 mm pitch.
- Number
- 53 g against 124 g for a solid plate of the same depth: 57% lighter.
- Spec
- CF nylon (PAHT-CF), black, as printed. 0.2 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.

- Proves
- Load-path design. Legs opened into frames, two side gussets carrying the load between bolt rows.
- Number
- 44% less material than the plain 8 mm bracket, stiffer in bending.
- Spec
- CF nylon (PAHT-CF), black, as printed. 0.16 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.
Dental and small precision

- Proves
- Small precise features and a flat model face: three Ø4 pins locate the pair, a magnet pocket underneath.
- Number
- Pin fit 0.1 mm per side; plates locate by hand with no play.
- Spec
- PETG, light grey. 0.12 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.

- Proves
- Heat-set brass inserts, a printed M20 × 1.5 thread for a cable gland, a lid that seats on a 1 mm lip.
- Number
- M20 × 1.5 printed directly; the gland runs on by hand.
- Spec
- PETG, grey, brass inserts. 0.16 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.

- Proves
- Flexible material, dimensionally right. Fits the groove in the enclosure above.
- Number
- TPU 95A, 2.0 mm free, compresses to 1.4 under the lid.
- Spec
- TPU 95A, black, as printed. 0.2 mm layers on an enclosed Bambu Lab P1S.
